Being an educational project of The Gem & Jewellery Skill Council with an International Standard in India, IGJ is in close contact with the industry. IGJ provides contacts between students and the industry.
A Placement and career fair is held annually where IGJ brings recruiters and job seekers together. This fair is a huge opportunity for alumni to interact with the who is who in the Gems and Jewellery industry.
IGJ aim to prepare students for professional practice as leaders in their chosen field. When they leave the institute they can expect to become quickly established amongst the emergent generation in the industry, they set up professional workshops, become designers and gemologist combine practice with teaching etc. More than 95% of our students have successfully chosen a career in this field.
